The Joe C. Davis YMCA Outdoor Center, home of Camp Widjiwagan, is a community non-profit that was established in 1844. The center has a variety of services and programs suited for all ages. The center consists of 320 acres on J. Percy Priest Lake.
The camp offers opportunities for day camp, resident camp, retreats, equestrian programs and other events. YMCA Camp Widjiwagan is accredited by the American Camp Association, which holds it to high caliber.
A variety of camps are held throughout the year for children, teens and adults. There are ranch camps and various equestrian programs that enable beginners to learn about horses or the more skilled to enhance their skills. Special programs and events can be planned at the camp by organizations and businesses.
Because of its lakeside location, the camp offers swimming, canoeing and water activities for its campers.
